Sure, the first step to doing much of anything on our website is to register. You can do that by going here: http://www.hopbarley.org/user/register. Once you've done that, you should be able to log into our site by going here: http://www.hopbarley.org/user. There's also a log in box at the lower left hand corner of the homepage.

Not quite yet, but if you've gotten this far, you're past the hardest part. To edit a wiki, all you have to do is go to the page you want to change, such as this test page (test_wiki_page) and then click on the Edit tab right under the title of the page. Then you can go ahead and change the page to your hearts desire.

Great. The nice thing about wikis is that anyone can change them, but occasionally that means that they will get vandalized. But the other cool thing about wikis is that every change is saved and it's simple to rollback to a previous version, rendering the vandals efforts worthless.

It's pretty simple. If you're logged in, you should be able to see a "revisions" tab at the top of any wiki document. When you find the revision you want to rollback to, click revert. Spam be gone.

Man... it looks like crap. How do I make things look neat and formatted nicely?

Mediawiki syntax is pretty simple. The best thing to do is to take a glance at this cheatsheet with some basic examples listed: Mediawiki Syntax Cheat Sheet. If you want to get more in depth, check out this How to edit a page. Note that our wiki isn't as full featured so somethings may not work.
