Kathy is planning a First Saturday Out for April 5 to snowshoe for a few hours and then visit Tommyknocker Brewery in Idaho Springs for a tour. Please email her at secretary@hopbarley.org if you are interested.
Meet at Tommyknockers at 10 am to drive to Washo Gulch. Snowshoe approx. 1-1 1/2 hour then drive back to Tommyknocker by approx 12:30 pm.

The date will be marked with specially brewed commemorative beers, brewery tours and events at many of America's 1,400 plus breweries.

Sunday April 13th Avery is participating in the first Slow Beer dinner. For $40 there will be a 3 course prix fixe menu paired with Avery Samael's Ale, Stone RIS and Left Hand Chain Saw Ale. This event is open to the public, no reservations necessary and runs from 5:30-Close.

16th annual Microbreweries for the Environment Benefit
Think Globally, Drink Locally: 20 Breweries, $2 Pints!
KGNU and the Boulder Weekly proudly present the 16th annual Microbreweries for the Environment benefit on Friday, April 25 at The Boulder Theater.
Since 1993, the Microbreweries for the Environment benefit has raised nearly $100,000 for local environmental causes. The proceeds from this year's benefit will further the environmental efforts of the University of Colorado Environmental Center, Colorado Conservation Voters, EcoCycle and Wild Earth Guardians.
