You think wine and cheese is a match made in heaven? Then you really haven't given a fair taste to beer and cheese pairings. These are much more harmonious than the traditional wine and cheese way of thinking. Learn more about why beer is cheese's better match.
Join us on Sunday, May 27th from 2 - 4:30 PM for a guided tasting of fine beers and artisan cheeses. Justin Trosclair, cheesemaker at Haystack Goat Dairy, will speak about the variety of cheeses presented and Jim Homer, certified beer judge, home brewer and Slow member, will speak about the beers to be tasted. Each attendee will receive an American Craft Beer and Food Guide from the Brewers Association. We will finish the day with stout brownie sundaes! There will be no Bud, Miller or Schlitz (or any others of this ilk)at this event!!
Cost to members is $25 per person; non-member cost is $30. Please bring a lawn chair!
We will be tasting in Jim Schott's backyard at his home in Niwot. Specific directions will be provided to all attendees.
Please send a check, made payable to Slow Food Boulder, to PO Box 991, Niwot, CO 80544 to hold your space at this event (include your email on the check please). Please RSVP by May 19th.
