The Foam On The Range Homebrew Club of Denver, CO is proud to announce our 2007 Homebrew Competition to be held on November 3, 2007.
Rules & Regulations

1. Beer Styles - Entries will be accepted for all Categories in the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) 2004 Beer Style Guidelines (www.bjcp.org/stylecenter.html) including mead and cider.

2. Entry forms - Please complete an entry form for each entry. You can use a Foam On The Range entry form (www.foamontherange.org) or any other BJCP, AHA, or computerized entry form and attach $6 per entry. Please limit yourself to one entry per subcategory. Please provide 2 bottles per entry, preferably 10 to 14 ounce green or brown bottles with no labels or embossing. Any lettering or graphics on the caps should be completely blacked out. Attach a label to each bottle with a rubber band. You can use the Foam On The Range bottle labels or any that include the entrant’s name(s), beer style category and subcategory, your phone number and/or E-mail address, and the name of the beer if it has one.

3. Judging – The competition will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007. The entries will be judged per the 2004 BJCP Style Guidelines by BJCP judges. Prizes and ribbons will be given out for Best Of Show Beer, Best Of Show Mead/Cider, Best Of Stewards, and the top 3 finishers in each Category. The Best Of Show prize is a Shirron Brazed Plate Wort Chiller and the brewer will brew their recipe at the South Denver Rock Bottom. Categories may need to be combined if there are not at least 6 entries in a given category. The awards ceremony will start at about 4 pm. The results will also be posted on our website and E-mailed within one day and the score sheets will be mailed within one week.

4. Entry Locations – Accepted October 9 to October 20, 2007. Check, money order, or exact change is preferred. Please make checks payable to “Foam On The Range”.
