This competition is open to all BJCP styles. For those who are able to win 1st in their category, you will automatically qualify for the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing (MCAB) competition held annually for all qualified competitions and brewers in addition to the possibility of participating in Pro-Am brewing with area breweries. This event, like any tasting panel/competition, is a great way to get feedback on your beverages to help you improve your brewing skills.

Reggale & Dredhop 2022, 2023 & 2024 participants!

-First, a huge Thank You for sending your brews in for judging and helping us keep a 35 year tradition going. We literally could not do it without you.

-Awards Ceremony’s; The 2023 awards were presented at the April 2023 club meeting. We recorded the presentation to link to this website.
-It’s my nature to blather on, and if you want more blathering, let me know. For now, let’s celebrate the winners, support the other upcoming competitions, and keep brewing. We had some amazing entries, so thanks again. None in 2022, thank Covid. Some have asked about awards ceremonies held for other competitions, they were in other counties, we’re in Boulder. We couldn’t have that year, and when restrictions were lifted on February 18th, there wasn’t enough time to plan something worthy, or pivot the venue last minute while we were in the middle of Judging. The 2022 Best of Show came down to 8 beers that required our Judges to have one of the best “debates” on the merits of style and quality I’ve seen in 30+ years of beer competitions. A truly wonderful experience, made possible by you, our participants. The 2023 Best of Show was a more subdued event, but with similarly high quality entries. 2024 has just concluded. Cheers!
