15TH ANNUAL MICROBREWERIES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT BENEFIT
15th annual Microbreweries for the Environment Benefit
Think Globally, Drink Locally: 20 Breweries, $1 Pints!
KGNU and the Boulder Weekly proudly present the 15th annual Microbreweries for the Environment benefit on Friday, April 27 at The Boulder Theater.
Since 1993, the Microbreweries for the Environment benefit has raised nearly $90,000 for local environmental causes. The proceeds from this year's benefit will further the environmental efforts of the University of Colorado Environmental Center, Everybody Eats!, and Center for Native Ecosystems.
Twenty Colorado microbreweries serve their best beers for only $1 each.
The evening's entertainment features music by 8traC and Great American Taxi.
And, to top it off, the benefit is an environmentally-friendly event with zero-waste and zero-emissions. Microbreweries for the Environment 2007 will be entirely powered by wind energy. Every attendee will receive a reusable commemorative pint glass.
