Announcing "Queen of Beer" Women's Homebrew Competition

LADIES – START YOUR BREW POT!
The Hangtown Association of Zymurgy Enthusiasts (H. A. Z. E.) of
Placerville, California, is pleased to announce the twelfth year of "Queen
of Beer" - a Women's Homebrew competition. (BJCP & AHA sanctioned)

Online Registration:
Starts September 1st, 2008
Registration will be available at www.hazeclub.org

Entry Fees:
$8.00 first entry, $6.00 each subsequent
Check or money order only, payable to H.A.Z.E.

Bottle Deliveries:
Deliveries accepted September 26 - October 11, 2008

Mark your calendars, judges and stewards. The AHA National Homebrew Competition 1st round for the "Old West" Region (Colorado, Oklahoma & Texas) will be Saturday April 26th in Denver, Colorado.

The judging will be held at Breckenridge Brewery which is located on 471 Kalamath in Denver.

We need judges and stewards to sign up so please let us know if you'd like to help with the event and in what capacity. Include your BJCP rank and BLCP number.

Entries for the 2008 National Homebrew Competition will be accepted from March 31 through April 11, 2008 only. Entries can only be registered online.

A new region (Old West) has been created for Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas and the drop-off location is in Denver.
